Audio Systems: am/fm/cdplayer repair, voltage regulators, internal voltage

Question
I have an BMW R1200CLC motorcycle. the LCD display has power but does not display anything. the radio/cd also has power going to it but does nothing. all the fuses are good.

Answer
The radio has internal voltage regulators and converters to change the source voltage to what is required inside.  I would guess that these are the problem.  Without putting these on the bench, diagnosis will be difficult.  You should consult a local service shop.
