QuestionQUESTION: I have a 97 Nissan pickup, and I had a stereo that would stay powered on but now audio would come out. I thought there was an issue with the stereo, so I bought a new one and I am still having the same issue. I have not had a chance to ohm the speakers but I do not think this is the case. I have a separate wire harness for my rear speakers, and I do not get any sound from them. Any help would be great!
ANSWER: At this point using an ohm meter is your best bet to trace down the problem.

AnswerIf you have an amplified system, the amp can usually be found in either the drivers or passengers kick panel or the under seats.
If your truck has this type of system, the website I gave you http://www.metraonline.com will give a heads up to this information.
They will also have a bypass harness if required.
