QUESTION: Hi i have a 2001 Pontiac sunfire and i would like to put an after market deck into it. Do i really need one of these chime kits? Also if i do what kind of wiring harness would i have to get?

This company does it's research. They don't put out anything that will not work. This is how they've been in business so long. Give them a call and ask one of their reps for details on what needs to occur.

Most often in these situations, a "Y" harness is required to connect the stock radio (stuffed in the dash) and the aftermarket so you don't lose any features.

This is the exact thing I had to do for my car to keep my keyless entry.
