Audio Systems: troubleshooting with sub hook ups, hook ups, lt 2

i have a 2007 cobalt Lt 2 door with stock indash radio,i just bought two 12" subs with a amp, i have everything hooked up in the back but when i try to connect my subs to the radio theres nothing to connect it too how do i get it connected? i really dont wanna buy a new deck

You have two choices:

ONE:  Use a hi-lo adapter and which will allow you to tap off the speaker wires to the back speakers.

TWO:  A sub adapter kit which allows you to tap into the head unit.
