Audio Systems: dodge caravan radio - amp problem, dodge caravan, factory stereo

In relation the the below topic...

... Which cable is the amp's ground?
I ask this as i am unsure about two cables from the car...
the silver braider strap & the plastic covered plug connector that connected to the back of the factory stereo.

I don' t know the colors without researching it.  But, you can solve it two ways.

ONE:  Use a proper wiring harness (from crutchfield.com).

TWO:  Use a vom or checker to find the right ground wire.

THREE:  Run your own separate ground wire from the amp to a nearby metal ground point.

With an ohm meter, TWO above, you can easily check the ground line out for continuity.
