Audio Systems: Stereo power intermittent, 2001 chrysler lhs, chrysler lhs

I have a 2001 Chrysler LHS with the Infinity sound system and about 50% of the time when you turn it on it just blinks the display lights and no sound comes out. I noticed even with the power off that the equalizer lights will be blinking if it is in this mode of malfunction. The other day it did this and alternated from the radio freq that was programmed to a 25el or (2sel) and also 15el or (1sel) and I was not sure if this was an error code or not. I would like to keep the original stereo if practical but not sure of the best direction to go with this. Thank you, Todd

radio is defective power supply got damage and needs to be repair this happends  if there is a big electric problem on the vehicle or if the alternator ,starter,or battery was replace
