Audio Systems: CD Jammed, long nose plier, jeep laredo

Question
I have a 1 disc CD player and accidentally stuffed in a second CD. The first CD plays, but both CD's are stuck and will not eject. Please help! How do I fix this problem? I have a 2005 Jeep Laredo.

Normally this requires a delicate extraction of the disk.  Sometimes it can be done with a tool that reaches in the mouth and lifts the second disk up and out but finding a long, long nose plier for it is not easy.

In the worst case it requires pulling the unit out of the dash, opening up the case for manual extraction of the disc.  Not and easy chore unless you have high mechanical dexterity.

Finally, sometimes with some players it will eject with a reset.  Reset is accomplished by disconnecting all power to the cd player.  This is easily done by pulling the cable off the battery.  But you must be careful. If the unit has anti-theft coding you must be sure you have the code so you can start the unit back up when power is applied again.
