Audio Systems: Home Theater System, sharp aquos tv, antenna input

Hi,
I can't get my Panasonic SCP 650 5.1 channel DVD Player/home theater surround sound system working with my Sharp Aquos TV.  I get surround sound when watching a movie on the unit but I do not get surround sound on my TV (or my playstation 3).  I have 3 HDMI cables hooked up to the TV.  One goes to the Home Theater System, one goes to the cable box, and one to the Playstation 3.  I have one red/white cable running from the TV to the home theater system.  This is the setup that Panasonic said to use.  However, they were unsuccessful when trying to help me get it working over the phone.  Do these connections sound correct to you?  What am I missing?

Your description is a little cryptic. I suggest that you draw a picture. You must describe a complete signal path for audio starting from the antenna input. Use arrows or describe what input is going to what output and what device. It sounds to me as if you have it hooked up backwards.
