Audio Systems: Bose Wave Radio- strange antenna noise, bose wave radio, electronic noises

Dear Sir,

My Bose Wave radio (AWRC-1G) no longer plays any radio station.  The CD player, clock, and alarm all continue to work perfectly.  However, when I try to listen to a radio station, I only can hear a strange sound, what can only be described as a "fax machine" sound.  Electronic noises like a on-line computer would make?  Any idea what could be causing this problem and how I can fix it?

I haven't seen the back of a Wave radio for awhile but I believe that there is some device attached to antenna inputs used to capture radio stations. It sounds like you are describing signal without a station. Check those connections and try tuning to different points on the radio dial. Bose has made enough money with those Wave radio's to stand behind it if there is a problem. If this wasn't helpful then you should call customer support.
