Audio Systems: Celestion DL8... need help, voice coils, speaker repair

Hi, i have a pair of DL8 Speakers... old i know, but i like the sound.... i mean... i use to like the sound, because both tweeter has just "boof"... doesn't say nothing anymore :)

The question is: anyone knows thecnical specification of this tweeter speakers model ?

if so, please email me, phone me, scream from anyware... but i need this information.

They are nice speakers.  And, if you like them, what else is there to say?

If the tweeters are blown there are a few alternatives.

ONE:  Since they are out of production it may be difficult to find replacement parts, but try them at this address.  There may be manuals and parts still available or they may recommend a substitute tweeter.

TWO:  Find a pair on eBay, verify the speakers work and use them for parts.

THREE:  Some speaker repair shops may be able to recoil yours and get them working again.  Probably the voice coils are gone; sometimes just the wires break and they can be resoldered.

FOUR:  You may be able to find some generic tweeters that will work even though some modifications would be necessary.
