Audio Systems: Kicker amp, kicker amp, output transistor

Hi, I have a 4 channel kicker amp powering a set of components and 6x9s. There is no sound coming from the right hand side speakers, ive changed them around at the amp to the left side and the speakers work so I know it is the amp. Can you help?? Thanks

Good thinking.  Now, switch the inputs to the amp and do the same thing.  It could be the head unit that is not getting audio to one of the channels.

If you think it is in the kicker amp, you may need to replace the output transistor or module of the bad side.  That is about 90% of these kinds of failures - but not the only thing that can fail.  Repair cost isn't so much because they are easy to replace on most car amps.  I think Kicker has a mail in repair program as well in the event you don't have a good repair shop in your area.

Let me know if you have further thoughts.  Be sure and give me the model number of the amp and the head unit so I can be a little more specific.
