Audio Systems: 6 cd changer jammed, toyota highlander hybrid, toyota highlander

Question
Hi, I'm haven't problem with my cd changer.  Recently, I have made a homemade cd with sticker label on it, maybe the label came loose, my cd changer is jammed.  When I press eject or load button it doesn't moved or make any sound.  I have a 2006 toyota highlander hybrid.  Is there any way you could help me?  please!!!

Answer
Yes, it is likely jammed.  Some changers have a reset or unjamming function - which would be explained in the owners manual.  Check in the manual for the reset. It is usually a very small hole in the front panel of the changer where you push the end or a straightened out paper clip into the hole until it depresses the recessed reset button.

If the above doesn't work you will probably have to take it in to the Toyota shop where they can pull the unit out, take off the cover and manually remove the jammed parts so the disc can be ejected.  Take it to a Toyota service location where, by advance telephone inquiry, they can assure you they have a qualified entertainment system specialist. Otherwise, go to good system installer/repair shop that has experience with Highlanders.
