Audio Systems: trailblazer 2002 6cd audio system dead, rds radio, electronic tech

Hi Ernesto!

I have a Trailblazer 2002 with a 6cd am/fm audio system
It was working fine, until I tried to change cd, it had all 6 loaded, it had been working for about 8 hours in our long trip, while pushing button to try to change CD, in the display it said "error" for about 3 seconds, then  it went dead, no display, no nothing; all lights, at night, work. I have checked all fuses, and all are fine. I called the dealer, but they said if radio does not turn on, nothing about code programming can bee done

any suggestions?

that is correct if the radio don't turn on and we get a code there is no way to know what happend
check the fuses there are 2 also this radio turn on with data from the bcm
are the door chimes and lights working if not is time to take car to the dealer  if this is the rds radio  
if olders style any electronic tech can check the radio and repair it
