Audio Systems: Infinity crossover components, google searches, crossover components

Question
I have an Infinity passive crossover (KPX-2), which will allow me to drive two auto subwoofers and a set of component speakers off of one amp.  Apparently, at one time Infinity also made a "fader control" (FC-1), which would allow the addition of of a second set of component speakers, all of of one amplifier.  Additionally, the fader control would allow you to fade front to back independently of the subwoofers.  I contacted Infinity to see if they could tell me where I might fond an FC-1, and I was told they were discontinued in 1991, and they show no dealers with any in stock.  I've tried ebay and google searches, all to no avail.  Any suggestions where I might find one of these?

Answer
Fader controls have lost credibility during the past few years because they are cumbersome and cause deterioration of sound quality in many cases.  With the low cost of  power amplifiers it is easy to put the subs on their own independent feed from the head unit.  4-channel amps are easily used for the balance of the system; they are cheap and easy to install.

I searched around and I don't know where you can find one, either.  I even looked in Japan and Korea but no can find!

Why don't you go to installer.com and see if there are some boxes that could be arranged to accomplish the same thing?  There are many kinds of kits, adapters and tools that may be of help to you.
