Audio Systems: 05 silverado troubleshooting, body control module, clok

Question
I have a 05 Silverado 3500 crew cab with the 6 CD Bose system.   The stereo clock keeps reverting back to 12:00. This happens mostly when I start the truck but sometimes it happens as I am driving down the road. It does not seem to be triggered by hitting bumps, etc. The Clock will reset to 12:00 and if you are playing a CD it will stop and the radio will start playing.  Seems like it is losing power but the preset radio stations are not lost.  Is the problem in the power going to the radio or is it the stereo itself?  Also is the Bose system just speakers or Bose amps or what? Thank you in advance for any answers that you can provide.

Answer
the radio is losing power coming from the bcm body control module  the power lost have to bevery short under a second to lose the clok and keep the memory this can be the radio or the BCM
if is not the radio and you lose power when the cd changer is changing disc  the unit can get damage
it is time to visit the dealer they need to use a gm scann tool to find the problem

sorry i can not help you more
