Audio Systems: Sub setup in a 2002 Stratus R/T, infinity system, midbass drivers

Hi, ive got a 2002 Stratus R/T with the infiniti sound system available from the factory.   Ive asked several peolpe in the area what i would have to do about adding subs to my setup.  I realize the factory power amp will be a problem, and am wondering what my options (a.k.a. the cheapest way) for me to get a  sub setup in the trunk without rewiring the whole car (as ive heard) or hurting something already in the car.

the best way is to get a hi/low adapter and plug that in to the factory speaker i believe the 6x9 or the 6.1/2 speaker
the infinity system comes with a crossover and this speakers are the  small midbass drivers that come in this vehicle  

also you only need to tap in to one speaker  bass is not stereo  if you need to do a system with 2 or 3 amplifier the infinity amplifier needs to be remove and you need a special hi low interface for vehicles with oem amplifiers, get one from oemautosound.com
