i need to know how to put an aftermarket cd player in a 1993 chevy cheyenne 1500.

You need to go buy the parts first. Most car audio shops sell the parts you need. The dash kit comes in all factory colors, the wiring harness, radio to pocket kit, and antenna adapter.
This link shows how to get the "brain" out so you can access the plugs.

DO NOT CUT THE PLUGS OFF.
It is so much easier to buy the $10 adapter.
