Audio Systems: Toyota 11712 Repair, toyota cellica, dust problems

Question
I have a toyota Cellica with a toyota 11712 radio/tape player paired with a
CD changer.  I like the radio.  The LCD doesn't work and it is a bear to enter
the anti-theft code when I disconnect the battery.  I took it out an pulled it
apart to see if I could get the LCD working. Didn't see anything obvious.  Is it
possible to get parts for these things? Where? Is it likely that if I replace the
LCD and driver board it will solve the problem?  An issue here is that it the
local auto guys don't know how to install a new unit in a way that it pairs
with the CD changer.  The two seem to be a pair, automatically selecting one
or the other depending on which is activated.

Answer
Don't bother fixing the display, the results will not be worth the cost. Pitch both the deck and cd changer and start fresh. I gave up on CD changers a couple years ago, the endless mechanical failures, dust problems, and skipping. Now I plug in my ipod into any car I drive, and have no problems, just music!
That and now I can carry 1700+ songs, instead of 12 Cds.
One other option, find the exact same Toyota deck on ebay for cheap.
