Question
hello i have a 1995 ford f-150 single cab and i am putting 2 12" subwoofers in the back the box fits but there is not enough room for the subs to fit. i have moved the seat up all the way but i dont know how else to make room for the subs to fit i need 1 1/2 more inchs any ideas thank you

Answer
Could you give me the make and models of the subs and the box?  If the subs are mounted in their box I don't understand why they need more space.

However, here are some suggestions.

ONE:  You can turn the box up.  No problem with the subwoofers firing upwards - if that gives more space.

TWO:  You can stand the box on end behind the passenger side.

THREE: You can get a smaller box.

FOUR:  You can get a larger pickup (yes, I know that is a little rediculous, but some people do far out things).

FIVE:  You can switch to smaller subwoofer and boxes.

SIX:  Are you familiar with the Bazooka line of subwoofers for cars and trucks?  They work really good in pickup trucks because they are in a cylinder and can fit in smaller spaces than square or rectangular boxes.

Finally: If the box can be cut down by removing the back panel and sawing off an inch or two and refasten the back cover (keeping it air tight) it may not alter the performance so very much.

Maybe these ideas will create a solution for you.  Hope so.
