Audio Systems: Where to buy fuses??, slo blo fuse, source of trouble

Question
I believe I've blown a fuse in my home subwoofer, but I'm having the hardest time finding a store online that has what I'm looking for.  The fuse is a Type T, 250V, 0.05A SLO BLO fuse.  I'm not really getting any strength through the speaker, more like a whimpering crackle, so if this does not sound like a fuse problem please let me know, I'm not that much of an expert when it comes to this sort of thing, thanks!

Answer
Hi Troy,

Whimpering crackles are obviously not good....

Before trying anything more expensive and difficult, try using different cables. You'd be surprised how often cables are the real source of trouble in an audio rig.

If you blew a fuse, and the woofer wasn't exposed to rain or lightning, then it's probably indicative of a *real* problem with the electronics. Fuses rarely *just* blow anymore. Usually, when a fuse blows, there's something serious going on.  If you wanted to try replacing the fuse, I'd recommend http://glenwoodsales.com/   This company is based in my hometown, and I've been to their warehouse. Pretty much any electronic component, they have.  If they don't have it, they'll find a source for you.

If you replace the fuse, and it still won't work, it might be worth it to take the unit to a factory authorized dealer.
