QUESTION: Can the bose 321 II speakers be hooked up to a stereo system other than a bose system?

ANSWER: Yes, but the results may not be great, most Bose speakers are tuned and made to work as a system. Especially a surround sound system like that one.

QUESTION: Thanks you very much for the info. How would you hook them up to a non bose system. The bose speakers have a four holed prong on the wires, where my jvc system have a two inlet. Thank you again.

Bose plugs have one + speaker, one - speaker, one +power, one - power. If you don't have the amp to check from, a AA battery with a lead soldered on each end can be used to test. When you touch the leads to the right 2 contacts, the speaker will crackle.
