Audio Systems: 2000 Mercury Sable, mercury sable, ford taurus

I am currently driving a 2000 mercury sable ls with a stock radio/dash along with the digital climate control instead of manual turn nobs. It also does not have a CD player in it. I recently bought 2 12" Kenwood Subwoofers and a Profile Amp. I have the subs and amp all hooked up to each other and to the battery but i cant hook it up to the stereo. I've talked to several installers at stores and they say an after market CD player can't be put in because of the digital climate controls. All I'm looking for is to install a CD player somewhere and hook up the amp. How would this be possible?

you can not replace the radio, you know that  but there is a cd button on the radio and you can plug a cd changer in to the RCU TUNNER box that is in the trunk

also the same company sales a rca interface that plugs in to the same box and let you add the amplifier
