Im having trouble connecting the radio antenna from the truck to the Panasonic deck. There is a plastic grommet around the connector that is just to big to fit inside of the new receiver. I cant seem to pull the inner part of it out.

I am not sure I understand the problem....   Did you acquire a wiring harness adapter kit with the purchase of the P deck?  I think the antenna connection comes through the cable system of the Dodge.

for the basic concept for installing the P head unit.  While this is generic instructions it will give the idea of what is done.

If the P deck has an F type connector at the back and the antenna wire does not have the matching plug you may have to put a new plug on the end of the coax cable.
