Audio Systems: a recordable dab micro stereo, high quality digital, broadcast channel

I want to buy my husband a small (micro) stereo with dab as he loves the station 1xtra.
I really want to get one that he can record his fav music from 1xtra onto cd..

does such a thing exist?
do you know of any?
cheaply?

1xtra is a BBC broadcast channel and is available over air, cable, satellite AND internet streaming.

The above is a high quality digital recorder that will store the signal from a radio output into digital form which can be transferred to a cd recorder easily.

These kinds of recorders are not cheap, however. You can find these in the UK  easily.

Another solution, if low cost with associated lower fidelity is your choice, would be to record on the pocket digital recorders found in any electronic store.  They are under $100 EU prices.  But, you would still need to have a device for recording to a CDR.
