Audio Systems: Installing high end system, not sure about power needs., audiobahn aw1206t, s10 blazer

Question
I am installing 2 Audiobahn AW1206T with a Lanzar VIBE286  4000watt 2channel amp. and a Soundstream SCX-4  4farad capacitor. i am putting these into a 1986 s10 blazer with a new alternator and battery. my question is do you think that this would be enough to power these subs without killing my alternator and battery ? I would like to add a optima battery to the setup if absolutely needed but wont have the money to do so for a few weeks. I have found these items for $550 which is a good deal from the reviews i have read and the stats on these components. i am fairly new to the whole hooking up a car system thing and will have help with the actual installation, But on my own for buying the components. will this setup work with my current situation ? Do you have any suggestions on this ?

Answer
well the Lazar vibe amps have a pretty bad reputation.  they are pretty junky and you absolutely cant trust the 4000 watts they say they put out. you shouldn't need the alternator or optoma battery.  you may not even need the capacitor.
I wouldn't spend the extra money on the alt, batt, or cap just yet.  if you want this amp and trust it will sound good, then make sure you run a good fat power line to it.  you can get decent 0 gauge kits on ebay and then adapt it down at the amp with a short pigtail of 4 gauge or whatever the amp takes.  also make sure you do the ground right.  I think you'll find that you dont need all that other stuff if you do that.  And if you do, you can always add it, starting with the capacitor, then the battery, then the alternator if necessary, but as I said I bet you wont need any of it if you do the power wire right.
its easy to tell too if you need it.  just look at your lights at night and if they dim to the beat significantly when the system's cranked then add the cap and see if the problem goes away.
