QuestionSubject factory cd changer
Question I have a 97 chev cavalier very basic everything, one of the main things I liked about it was the cd changer having clear and dedicated buttons for ease of operation. unlike aftermarket stereos which have smaller and more multiple use controls. Hence I would rather not buy aftermarket unless absolutely necessary. I didn't realize until the day after my purchase that the cd player will not play any cd. Any cd I put in says ERR and immediately rejects. Can you help me?

cd changers only have 1 button EJECT
I shouldn't have said changer it is a cd player. Can You help
Answerwell if it wont take a cd it either broken or at the least dirty inside. you can try removing it, taking it apart and cleaning the laser with a cuetip and alcohol.
if that doesn't work just put in a new unit. if you like simple, large controls check out the DUAL cd seen here:

it basically has the entire surface for buttons and another entire surface for display so you get the best of both worlds.
its cheap too.
