Audio Systems: my subs in my 92 BMW wont work right, subwoofer amp, dash unit

at first it was really low and was going with the song great but it wasnt loud... but then i did something to were it was perfect, but then i touched something wrong i guess and now when i put it the way i had befour it jus makes noise loud bass sound but doesnt go with any thing jus long and drawn out sound that sounds terrible... i dont know what to do plz help me.

You may have lost a connection that is sending a hum or buzz or open circuit into the subwoofer amp.

Do you know where the sub amp is located?  If so, there are two 12v wires connecting to it.  Turn the ignition off, remove the key and temporarily disconnect both 12 v wires for at least 10 minutes. Then reconnect them and turn on the ignition and audio system.

If that does not correct the situation, let me know the make and model of the head in-dash unit, the sub amp and the subwoofers.  Then I can give you some further advice on what to do.
