Audio Systems: wiring a amp, car subwoofers, single voice

i have 2 4omh 150rms 12" speaker, i connecting it to 1 500w amp, i would like to drop it to 2ohm, how do i wire the speaker to the amp? i read some articles and I'm thinking of connecting them in parallel, do i only use the positive from the right side  and the negative from the left side to do this?

If they are 4 ohm, single voice coil speakers you can merely wire them in parallel.  Connect a wire from the plus terminals and another from the minus terminals of the two speakers.
