Audio Systems: amp to stock stereo, dodge magnum, infinity system

i just bought a 2006 dodge magnum and  the person that had it before me had an amp and stuff hooked up to the original head unit, and i told them not to touch any of the wire but unfortunately they cut the rca and remote wires, and i don't kno how it was hooked up like that i never hooked anything up to the stock unit, but there were about 4 or 5 wires under the dash coming form behind the stereo that had splice connects and im assuming that's what the remote and rca's were hooked up to because it had a blue wire obviously the remote but can you tie rca wires into other wires? i heard if you do that you can blow an amplifier but is that true and can you help thank you

i am sorry it is almost impossible to know where they tap in to
there is no remote wires  or RCA jacks on that radio
if you have the infinity system the factory amplifier is in the back

it is best to remove the radio and look at all the wires  maybe they cut it from under the dash leaving the cables still tap in to the factory wiring
