Audio Systems: Sony Car Stereo, dodge stratus rt, sony car stereo

Hi,

Just purchased a Sony Xplod CDXGT71W, Car Receiver w/ Sub Preamp output & CD/MP3/WMA/AAC playback to install in a 2003 dodge stratus rt coupe. The car has the infinity speaker system. Having problems hearing all speakers. One will play, then two play and then back to one then to two again...on the right side...left side, dont play at all. Any suggestions to resolve the issue? We have contacted sony and all wiring is correct.

Hi Holly,

Does this problem only happen when you're driving?  If so, then the wiring it loose and/or exposed to where it's moving and grounding itself.  I've had the same problem in many vehicles.  If the problem still happens when the car is not running (just the battery and Xpod on) then you need to return the unit for a replacement because there's something obviously wrong with it.  Good luck!  Cheers, Wink
