Audio Systems: 06 F250 aftermarket head unit VERY IMPORTANT Q, thier website, steering wheel

Ok, I have an 06 f250 lariat w/ the volume controls on the steering wheel, very convenient...ok, so I bought a dual brand aftermarket radio w/ a touchscreen...there is an aftermarket part that allows me to connect the steering wheel radio controls to the aftermarket radio, but the idiot installer at best buy had no clue what it was and sent me to this site to ask the real experts. Please tell me what i can do to make my steering wheel controls hook up to my aftermarket radio!! Thanks

You didn't say what brand you bought, but there should be one there for yours. Soundgate also makes nice ones, but they don't list any for Fords on thier website.
This install will require some basic wiring and soldering,
but if you follow the instructions, you'll do fine.
Remember that you need to program your functions into the device when the install is done.
