Audio Systems: Bazooka subwoofer speakers (EL8A), vw passat, bass tubes

I have a 2001 VW Passat 4cyl. and i purchased the bazooka subwoofer bass tubes and it said everything i need is included and that i just need to wire it up. i'm curious as to where i connect the wires when it is in my trunk. any help would be appreciated. thanks

The EL8A is a powered subwoofer. It has its own amp built into the box.

There are three or four connections that must be made:

ONE: 12 v power line to the amp.
TWO: 12 v turn on line from the head unit.
THREE:  The audio signal from the head unit that has the bass feed to the input
FOUR: If stereo you may need to bring both left and right to the input of the amp.

The power lines are single wires. The audio are usually RCA type coax wires.
