Audio Systems: 1994 caravan radio, picup trucks, cold weather

We are having very cold weather here lately and a few days ago I turned the radio on and it didn't go on. The time was displayed on the unit. An hour later the time disappeared and now only a small dash is visible on the display( -- ). I checked the fuse in and out of the car.

it is the radio i seen caravans intrepids and dodge picup trucks do the same this the am/f/ tape player for some reason they just die and it cost to much  to repair it is better to replace the radio

temperature makes the capacitors inside the readio leak this acid goes in the board eating  the contacts a few years later it just stops working
