Answer
A 4Kw amp and a pair of Kickers is not a system.
What else are you planning to run with it?
Are you after pure SPL, SQ or a combination?
I cannot imagine you sitting within 40 feet of it and expecting SQ, but I have to ask.
If you want SQ, you will neeed a good 8 to 32 other speakers to match the output of the subs and some power amps to drive them.
You will need a good 200 amperes of alternator to run what you have already. With so many unknowns ( nd more that I have not mentioned), it would be silly to recommend what you exactly need.
With lead acid batteries, Caps will only really help when listening with the engine off. If you run a NiCad setup for the audio systems' additional batteries you do not really need caps at all.
Have you simply asked a local pro about this?
You have far too many holes in this conceptual 'system' as it stands  (to simply tell you that 'you need this or that') and you could do well to speak in person about it with a local professional.
Some ppl might tell you 4 Farads.. some might tell you 40 Farads and both could be correct depending on your situation, budget and your realistic intentions/expectations.
