Audio Systems: Toshiba DVD Player No Sound, toshiba dvd player, audio amplifier

We have a dvd Video player SD-3960SU (2004 - we get a great picture but NO Sound!  We have tried everything!

There are two audio output jacks on the back; red and white.  They must connect to the audio inputs (left and right) of the tv or audio amplifier.

If you are not getting any sound the dvd player may be defective.  You can purchase a dvd replacement player for $20 and up; they are cheaper to just replace than they are to have repaired - unless still under warranty.
