Audio Systems: 2002 Audi A4 Avant -- AM Radio Static, antenna amplifier, rear side windows

2002 Audi A4 Avant -- AM Radio Static
AM radio has static on all stations ONLY when the engine is running. All FM stations clear. Engine RPM or vehicle speed - has no effect on static. I do not have window tinting. The colder the outside air temperature or engine bay - the greater the static. The more the electrical load applied – the less the static. ie:   Turn ON Headlights – Less Static. Turn ON Rear Window defrost – Less Static. Antenna is embedded in the rear side windows. It's driving me crazy since I like to listen to the traffic report on the way to work. Thanks for your help. the  antenna is in the window check all the lines  if ne is cut or scratch that is your problem  if that is not the case,
in the trunk  left side behind the cd changer you will find the antenna amplifier there is a few plugs there check all of them
