Audio Systems: whole house audio system, ir repeaters, partsexpress

Question
I am currently wiring my home for an audio system using two different speaker cables one for short runs and a larger wire for long runs. I am also running a cat 6 cable to each room for keypad control in each room.the system will be centrally located and I am putting two speakers in each room and one in the bathrooms. I am also running cable and speaker cable from the TV room which will hopefully allow me to distribute from the TV to the other rooms. I am hoping that I am one the right track so far, if I have a missing link please let me know.  Assuming I am ok so far, I would appreciate a recommendation on in-wall speakers. I am not an aficionado, but I do know that simply paying a high price does not mean you get a good speaker, and sometimes the cheaper ones are actually better products. I have checked Consumer Reports, but they do not have a survey on in wall speakers.  Any help would be much appreciated. I need 15 in wall speakers, and have a budget of $1000 to 1500.

Answer
my question would be how do you plan on amplifying all this and having volume control in each room?  will there be a knob on the wall of each room that provides volume control?  also alot of these all home systems have IR repeaters so you can use the remote in any room.  the cat5 is a great idea,  it always comes in handy.

as for the speakers themselvs I've heard good things about these:

Partsexpress also has volume control and speaker distribution equipment so check'm out for that as well.
