Audio Systems: amp to interior speakers, watt amp, deck type

hi, i wanted to know if i have to upgrade my wires from my speakers. the interior speaker wires are average size wire and i want to put a 550 watt amp to my 4 speakers i have 2 6x9's and 2 4x6's i want to devide 550 watt into each speaker giving it 137 watt each. i wanted to know do i have to replace the factory wirring or will the wirring that came with the car will be ok to use for this amp. i was hoping that i could use the factory wires. and how hard is it to run the wires do i have to run a wire from the head unit to the amp and then from the amp back to the speakers? thanks for the help

This a good way not to ask a question as it is far too vague to answer with any certainty.
I would need data on the spcific gear you have:
Speaker type, make and model numbers.
Amplifier type, make and model number.
Vehicle year and make/model.

*This is a bare minimum listing. Any other specifics can greatly help to get a useful answer. Deck type (factory or not)  ect..

I could only (safely) say that you 'could' use the factory speaker wires if they are not over 5 years old.
