Audio Systems: Max 95 Bose radio plays but no display., mobile environments, audio manufacturer

Display of Maxima 95 Bose is dark but all the audio is OK.
Sometimes (it happened just few times) the displays comes on, but it fades and gets dark quite fast. How it can be repaired?

Time for a new system.
If you want to repair an 11 year old system.. good luck. It will likely fail elsewhere and soon.
The problem is probably cold solder joints which create imtermittent operation. Simply put, this is because Bose is not a high quality audio manufacturer (for mobile environments, anyhow which are obviously in need of rugged craftsmanship).
To fix it, have it removed and take it to a repair shop.

You are welcome to ask another expert about this, but whether you do it yourself or pay to have it done, I would never advise repairing such an overpriced, overrated and poor quality system.
