Answer
Hi Lester,

I've never owned an alpine, so I can't give you anything off the top of my head.  Also, I'm an acoustics and loudspeaker expert, not necessarily an expert on car stereo.

That being said, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve.

You can try scanning the manuals for your model here:
http://www.stylestandard.net/oswego/login/alpinelogin
-you'll have to click the link that says "continue without login" just below the password window.  Then type your model into the "quick search" bar above,  click on the match, and when it brings up a new window, look for the tiny (practically hidden) icon just to the left of the shopping cart.  That, somehow, is supposed to be a graphical illustration of "download maunual to your hard-drive".  I'd right-click and select "save target as" and save it to your machine - you never know when you'll need it again.

It may be easier to get it here if you can find it:
http://www.restricted.alpine-electronics.co.uk/support/ownersdatabase/index.php

If you notice that there's no directions on how to set your clock, you're not the first, that's why alpine posted this:
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/support/head_units/head_units_faq01.html

As far as I can tell, it looks to be pretty much the industry standard:
- hold the "CLK" button down for 3 seconds until the clock display blinks
- use the "audio control knob" to adjust the hours, then push the knob ("enter").
- use the "audio control knob" to adjust the minutes.  Click enter by pushing the knob in again (or wait 5 seconds) to finish setting the clock.

Hope that helps.  Good luck!
