Audio Systems: RDC634 Clarion CD Changer, royal star venture, yamaha royal star venture

I have a Yamaha Royal Star Venture Motorcycle with the RDC634 mounted in the Travel Trunk. It is controlled by the Audio Head on the Motorycycle and was installed by Yamaha. It has the C Bus connector.  

It has died and I don't want to spend more money on it. Do you think the  DC625 will work on this. Connectors are the same and I would venture to say since it is Clarion it would be compatible.

Would appreciate your input.

  The 625 operates on the C-bus, and all the pins operate the same - it should be a plug-and-play situation.   
  Make sure you disconnect the battery first, and keep a close eye on proper grounding.   Other than that I think you're golden.
