Audio Systems: Sirius static, auxiliary input, fm transmitter

Question
Ernesto,

I installed Sirius radio in my car about a week ago and was getting a lot of static with the FM transmitter.  So I bought a cassette adaptor to use in the tape deck and it was crystal clear.  However, over the past several days, I have been getting static on and off..more on than off.  Any idea what could be causing the static?  I was going to try and clean the heads to see if that helps...other than that, I am stumped.  Thanks.

Answer
both option are not good for what you are trying to do the best way is to get a auxiliary plug for your radio  the tape can damage your radio most car manufactures void your warranty if you out a tape of 90 or 120 minutes   normal tapes are 22 minutes per side
