Audio Systems: No Sound, lincoln mark, new radio

Question
I have a 1993 Lincoln Mark 8 and just switched cd players. Wiring is  right power is on but I am getting no sound. Another thing I noticed was when I unplug my power on the harness my lights will dim and the other night my panel lights on the odometer wasnt even working.Please help I'm lost without my sounds. and if I need to check the factory amp where can I find it, also I've checked all the fuses. and if you could list a couple of other things I could check or do. check the ornage wires  ilumination make sure you didn't ground them
also the black wire from new radio connect to chasis ground and the blue wire from the new radio is to turn on the jbl amplifier you need to plug that in
