Audio Systems: ipod capability in the pioneer super tuner III, interface compatibility, avic n3

Question
How do i get my Ipod music to play through the speakers of my car?  Because it says external when i go to the Ipod on my stereo and im guessing it should say internal?

Answer
Your car system must have an input that will accept the audio signal coming from the iPod.  The iPod you are using must have an external output connection. The connection is usually done with a small cord that has a stereo mini jack on each end.

Although some systems - the very recent ones - have an iPod interface which allows the iPod to be dropped into a slot that automatically makes the connection.

The above is an interface adapter of you need one for the radio you are using.

The tuner above requires the adapter in order to be fully ipod compatible.

So, you must look at the specs on the unit you have to determine what level of interface compatibility it has.

Then, let me know if you need more ideas.
