Audio Systems: system setup, 4 ohms, ohm load

Question
I have 2 SVC 12' polk momos. currently i have them being pushed by the A8000T mono audiobahn amp. Is there a certain amp you think would do the best for them (400 rms)? also what sort of enclosure would you recommend to get the highest spl out of them? yes i know they are more for quality than quantity but i already hit 140 dB with them and my current slot-ported box and wanted to know how to get a little louder if possible. Thanks!

Answer
well just to clarrify, these are the subs:

and this is the amp:

looks like your amp is rated for 800 watts at 2 ohms and your subs are 400 watts each at 4 ohms (together making a 2 ohm load if wired in parallel) so I'd say you have a perfect match.  I wouldnt touch it.

I'd look at the box, not the amp.  what's the dimensions on the box and what is the freqency of the tuned port?  if you dont know the freq. what are the dimensions of the port and the lenght?  is it a common port (2 subs, one port) or is there a port for each sub.
Is it a good solid box with no leaks, or a cheap, prefab particle board box?  was it custom made for these subs or not?

The box makes a huge difference, more so than the amp may.
