Audio Systems: cy-vmd9000u, secure products, secure place

how do i get around the security code on the CY-VMD9000U i for got the code .it has been un hooked for awhile and i don't remember the code . i went to install it again in my other car and it popped up to enter in the code so i just wanted to know if there is away around it or is the player trash now

Only way I know is to contact with Panasonic. If it was easy to restore it would not be a very good anti-theft mechanism, would it.

When you buy one of these secure products you must put the code in a secure place where you will never lose it.

I think it will cost a few dollars to get the code back and you will have offer proof that you are the owner.  I think Pan uses an outside company to administer the anti-theft function, so you might have to bounce around a little.

There some instructions on page 51 of your manual, but I don;t think they will solve your problem without you knowing the preset code that you entered.

Some manufacturers have a secret reset code, but I don't know what it is for this model.  Sorry.
