Audio Systems: fuses, tail lamps, odd mood

today as i was driving i turned on my head lights and i was in an odd mood so i flickered them at the car in front of me several times. well... my dash lights wouldn't turn on and my tail lights went out . i changed the fuse but every time i try it. the fuse breaks again. i could really use some help.

What kind of vehicle? The dash lights going out is a safety feature on older vehicles, so you know the fuse for the tail lamps is blown. Checking for shorts at the taillamps would be a good start. Bulbs can be shorted inside, so replacing ones that look iffy is a good idea.
