Audio Systems: sub box direction, dementions, rear deck

hey im getting 2 10" MTX mxs subs and i have been given design dementions and i figgured it might look better if i angled the subs looking slightly upwards or outwards and iv heard people say it sounds better facing straight back, just wondering if u could fill me in a little on this, thanks a bunch.

typically if you face the speakers up it will have a little more tendancy to rattle the rear deck which is audible from inside the car.  If you face the subs back into the trunk lid like where the license plate is it has more of a tendancy to shake the car better and give more of the "feel" of bass without as much of the audible rattling from the rear deck.  So I agree with the people you've spoken with.
