Audio Systems: About the Price of the Cd player in my 99 ford escort., bells and whistles, difs

I would like to know about the different prices on the cd players and the faceplates for my 99' ford escort.

well, not exactly sure what you're asking for about the different prices.  I think what you mean is "what do you get with what you pay for" kinda thing?  If that's what you're asking, what I've found is this:  you can spend $79 or $1800 on a cd player and when you hook it up and turn it on, they're both going to play and sound about the same cuz cd quality is cd quality,  its good for the most part.  the main difs are going to be if the thing skips over every bump or wether you need to hurt your teeth over bumps before it skips.  This repesents the $100-400 class, after that its just glitsy features and lights and bells and whistles for the most part.
