Audio Systems: Pioneer VSX-7300 left channel bad, model number search, internal fuse

Question
Any idea where to look for schematic of the vsx 7300?  No place on the web seems to have a schematic available?
Or, should I bite the bullet and drop it off @ a pro audio repair house?

-----Question-----
Mistake: hooking up home theatre in new location and re-routed a speaker wire.  Crossed up the wire and hit, I think, the jumper for the pre-amp to amp.

Now realize that I have no left channel. Balance all the way left and full volume, faint audio.

I cannot find a fuse on this unit and am curious to know if you think it worth opening the case to track down a blown diode or other quick repair.

THIS UNIT IS NOW, 16 years old.  Other issue is the level meter intermittently stops displaying data.

it's a good model, well worth fixing or getting fixed, there could be an internal fuse blown or other protection device gone bad, some of the internal fuses look more like resistors than fuses. as far as display, that's probably solder connections at the display board failing.

Answer
after a couple seconds on google, partsstore.com (partstore.com) has service manual available for a little more than $50. i'm sure if you called around service shops, since it's that old, that they would probably let service manual go, or a copy of it, for no more than $20.  happy hunting...ADDITIONAL INFO... did search on google for 'vsx7300 parts', saw link for parts store model number search, entered vsx7300, on second page of parts list, at top, there's an item listed as 's/m' this is the service manual you are looking for. has all schematics, parts lists, and so forth..
